the data protection act is to
protected the right of all peoples informations
and the information they have.
here is a list hand
then I will talk about each one.
Fairly and lawfully processed
Processed for limited purposes
Adequate, relevant and not excessive
Accurate and up to date
Not kept for longer than is necessary
Processed in line with your rights
Secure
Not transferred to other countries without adequate protection
well that the list now
let talk.
Fairly and lawfully processed they need to fairly use your information and
lawfully processed your information before they use the information and
judge what the information is used for.
Processed for limited purposes means the information is only used for the thing
that is needed and your limited by the rules of the purpose.
Adequate, relevant and not excessive well it pretty much mean what it says if your getting
information it need to be to the point and not over the top
if some one read it and they thing the person have done some thing bad or over the
top you may end up not getting a job so the information needs
to be on the point of what they need
Accurate and up to date if the information is out of data some one may not have the hole story of what they have done and if the information is not accurate then they may not have correct information and that
is not good.
Not kept for longer than is necessary if the information is not let go after a point then some one may thing they did some thing that is not current and if some ones info is left on for all to see they may end up getting hurt by it
Processed in line with your rights you have all the right to you
information and if some one uses it
they are breaking the rules
Secure the information has to be secure for the right use and the right protection
Not transferred to other countries without adequate protection don't sent information a cross to other country's with out great protection as it may not be safe or secure.
well that was long and a lot of info to get a cross well I hope that all for the data protection act
and to any who have not seen it hope it helps
